I made brownies. Matt had been asking me for weeks. I had the perfect from scratch recipe and was incredibly excited that they turned out so well. Matt got home tried a little sliver of one and said they were excellent. We then sat them up on the counter towards the back so we could have them for dessert. Well, I had seen Madison with a piece of brownie and assumed that Matt had broken down and given her a small piece. Come to find out she was stretching up and sticking her fingers into the brownie.
Matt caught her and got onto her and it startled her and she pulled the pyrex dish of brownies into the floor. The pan just shattered. She didn't get hurt and really the only injury was my foot, because of stepping on the glass when I was grabbing her.
It took forever to clean that glass up and the entire time Matt mourned the brownies.
It really was a sad day in the Raper household.
