We spent Saturday with my family in Illinois. We were kind of glad that we were getting to be at home on Easter Sunday. We had a huge dinner with the entire family which was pretty tasty and as always way to much for any of us to clear out. Bradon did pretty well the first part of the visit, but became kind of cranky and fussy towards the end. I'm pretty sure heat, tiredness, and cutting back teeth were the reason. It was a great trip and we can't wait to go back. Hopefully next time it won't be raining and the flood of 2011 will be over.
Sunday the kids were able to get up and see what the Easter bunny brought them. Bradon is still too little to really realize what is going on, but did love the toys and candy. Madison was very excited about the Easter bunny visiting, and about all the things he left her. We spent Sunday night having dinner with Matt's parents.
It really was a great weekend, but Easter being so late has really thrown off all our schedules.
