Christmas night we headed over to Matt's parents' house. We had a great dinner of ham, scalloped potatoes, homemade bread, and German chocolate cake. We opened gifts and spent the last of Christmas with them. By the time we left the kids were completely exhausted, but they definitely had a long couple of days. The kids were asleep by the time we commuted the 10 minutes home. We carried them upstairs and got them into bed. It was a precious end to a wonderful Christmas.
