We took the kids to get their Halloween costumes today. I know it's a little early, but the Halloween City costume store sent out coupons and I'm all about saving money.
The goal when going into the store was to find Bradon a Yoda costume. Matt was very determined, because this will be the only year we will be able to dress him. We also wanted to let Madison pick out a costume, but to keep her away from the Yo Gabba Gabba section of the store. That was more my motive than Matt, but those characters no matter how much Madison loves them freak me out.
Madison fell in love with the pirate costume and kept saying "Rrrrrrr" through out the store and after a little searching we managed to find Bradon's costume.
I know this is a pretty boring story, but it gets better.
When we had walked into the store there was a giant Jason that looked like it should move, but was turned off. When we went to leave the store apparently someone had turned Jason on, because Madison was walking ahead of us when suddenly Jason moved and turned towards her. She froze, slowly started walking backwards toward us, and I don't think she blinked once. Her face had one of complete horror and we had to carry her out of the store.
