Trick or Treat Trail

Two local dentists put on a trick or treat trail at the RCA park in Bloomington today.

The kids were going to be able to meet Dora the Explorer and help her find her lost friends on the trail.

We decided to take the kids, because Madison is absolutely in love with Dora. We have and know all things Dora in this house; from the shoes on her feet to her yogurt in the fridge. We got to the trail right as it was starting and managed to be the first group on the trail.

We met Dora first who explained that she needed help finding her friends in the enchanted forest and to make sure we watched out for Swiper. Swiper would try to swipe the candy if we weren't careful. We moved past Dora and found many loveable story book characters. The three little pigs, Snow White & the 7 dwarves, Captain Hook, Belle & the Beast, Spiderman, Batman, The Hulk, the wicked witch, & Swiper.

Madison was really excited to get candy and meet the characters, even though she wouldn't get really that close to any of them. Dora looked huge, so I really can't blame her. It really was a cute experience. Bradon was just along for the ride and really wasn't terribly impressed with anything. I thought I saw a small smile around Spiderman, but then again I could have been imagining things or it could have been gas. LOL.

It was about a 30 minute storybook adventure and it's definitely something we hope to do again in the future.
