Day 10

Lazy Sundays? Where did you go?

Life is so crazy right now that even the weekends don't feel relaxing.  The two days a week are crammed with practice, appointments, grocery shopping, cleaning, laundry, etc. The week's schedule does not allow for much extra Monday-Friday, because of practices, my school work, Matt's work, Madison's school, appointment, etc.

I keep trying to tell myself that it will get better, however that calming down seems so far away.  I've tried different routines, different methods, organizations, etc.

Some weeks we don't know which direction is up and which is down.  However, it is fun and while the items we are juggling are different from before, we have still become very experienced in keeping things afloat in busy stressful situations.

The upside is that the kids don't realize all the magic, schedule arranging, etc. it takes to make all the days run smoothly.  They are just enjoying life, and that's all we want for them.

I remember all the times, since Matt and I have been together that it seemed we both worked too much to be able to enjoy things.  We didn't take trips, a honeymoon, or any other things for many reasons.  1.) we wanted to save money , however even if that hadn't been the case  2.)  we didn't have the time. Now that we have the time, we are living it to the fullest.

While lazy Sundays don't exist for us anymore, there are so many more enjoyable life activities that we finally are being able to enjoy.
