Matt has been doing wonderfully at his new job. He started the prosecutor's office in April of 2012 and worked in the traffic and misdemeanor department until February of 2013. At that time he was approached and asked whether he would want to transfer to the juvenile delinquency department. He gladly accepted and has been there since. He seems to really have found that one area of law that he really enjoys and he seems to be excelling at it.
Matt has also gotten back into Tae Kwon Do this year. He had been talking non stop about it, since we enrolled Madison. For his birthday, the kids and I got him enrolled and all of his equipment. For those of you who didn't know, Matt is actually already a 2nd degree black belt and has been for about 15 years. He struggled a little at the beginning to get back in the swing of things, but he seems to be doing really well for not doing it in so many years.
Matt also completed the Sunburst 5k and the Logan's 5k this year. He did pretty well on both, though he feels he could do better. We are looking at doing those two 5ks again next year, so we will see how he does.
I think that is pretty much all to report on Matt. He absolutely loves his job, the time he still gets for family and activities, and working for the state side.
